“What has been the most helpful piece of feedback you have received, that you have implemented?”
We asked a Client Service Associate this question and they had a great, practical response. They shared, “I had a manager tell me that clients won’t read my long emails and to move away from paragraph form and to use headers and bullets in order to get responses or the follow up information that I need.”
We loved this response simply because it was very specific and tactical. So many times we hear the cliché answers here. This candidate had the awareness to preface their response with “this is pretty specific to a task versus me as a professional, but it has greatly helped me.”
For all you candidates out there interviewing, having a balance of your macro professional learnings AND tactical learnings that have helped you can make you stand out.
